How do I switch or change my role?

Your role determines the information DocReviewers.com requires you to provide as well as the features you may access on DocReviewers.com. After you create your account, you may switch your role if you selected the incorrect one when you signed up.

If you are a reviewer who selected either the managed review provider or staffing agency, in house counsel or law firm, or recruiter role, then please use the following instructions to change your role:

Click the “Change user type” hyperlink in the top right corner of the box to the direct right of the “My Information” title. This hyperlink should appear as follows:

A popup will appear asking if you would like to change your role to a reviewer. Click “Yes” to confirm. This popup appears as follows:

Your role will change to “Reviewer” and you will be directed to the “Contact Information” page of your profile. Complete and submit your profile to be eligible for invitations to upcoming document review projects.

If you are a representative of an managed review provider or staffing agency, in house counsel or law firm, or recruiting company who selected the recruiter role, then please use the following instructions to change your role:

A popup will appear asking the role to which you would like to change. Click the role that best describes your organization. This popup appears as follows:

Your role will change to the type you selected and you will be directed to the “My Information” page of your profile. Complete and submit your profile to create projects and find reviewers.

Below are the roles you may choose from as well as their definitions:

Reviewer: any attorney who is seeking legal employment, including document review projects.

Managed Review Provider or Staffing Agency: any member of a managed review provider or staffing agency who seeks to place attorneys in short- or long-term legal employment.

In House Counsel or Law Firm: any member of a law firm, legal department, government agency, or legal organization who seeks to employ reviewers for short- or long-term legal employment, including document review projects.

Recruiter: any individual or member of an organization who assists lawyers in obtaining employment in positions other than those involving document review.
